Save $3000 when you buy your DJI T70P or T100 with Aerolab

We've partnered with DroneTrust to offer discounted rates on their new Drone Pilot Chemical Rating, so you can now complete your full ag pilot training pathway with just one company.

Buy a DJI Agras T70P or T100 through Aerolab between 12 August and 12 September 2026, and your Drone Pilot Chemical Rating is $1,000 + GST instead of $4,000 + GST.

About the Chemical Rating

DroneTrust have just launched it, and it's built for drone operators rather than adapted from a manned aviation course. Ten modules online, self-paced, and most people finish in one to two weeks. It's valid for five years.

It sits alongside everything else you need, so your Part 102, your exposition, your OCA and your Ag Rating all come from the same team. One set of people who know where you're up to, and one number to ring.

The two drones

DJI Agras T70P, from $42,899 ex GST. 70L spray, 100L spreading, 65kg lift. See packages

DJI Agras T100, from $55,000 ex GST. Built for the big jobs. See packages

What the pathway involves

These are the steps you need to take to be fully certified to fly an ag drone. It runs about 10 to 12 months end to end, and the order is important as each step builds on the previous one:

  1. Exposition and UAOC application. Goes in first, because the CAA takes 8 to 10 months to process it. This is the certificate that actually lets your organisation fly an ag drone.
  2. Part 102 Pilot Certificate. Covering everything from Part 101 fundamentals through to operating for a CAA-approved organisation.
  3. Pilot Chemical Rating. The one we're taking $3,000 off. Certifies you to apply chemicals from the air.
  4. Operational Competency Assessment. Annual assessment to check your competence in operating the drone and following safety procedures.
  5. Agricultural Rating. Two days with an instructor plus supervised flights, certifies you as a pilot to undertake agricultural spraying.

FAQs

What do I have to do to qualify?

Pay Aerolab a deposit of at least $5,000 on a new DJI Agras T70P or T100 between 12 August and 12 September 2026, and complete your full pathway with DroneTrust.

When do I get the discount?

When you're ready to start your Chemical Rating, DroneTrust issue the code. You don't need to do the course straight away.

Is there a deadline to start?

You need to enrol in the pathway within 90 days of buying the drone. Starting your exposition is usually the first move, since it takes the longest.

I already hold a Part 102. Does that count?

Usually yes. Where you already hold a current component, DroneTrust can treat it as satisfied. Tell us what you've got and we'll work out what's left.

The business is buying the drone but a staff member will fly it. Is that a problem?

No. The enrolment can be used by one nominated pilot employed by or contracting to the purchasing business.

What if I want to train somewhere else for part of it?

Then the offer doesn't apply, and if you've already taken the discounted course the $3,000 difference becomes payable. The discount is there because you're doing the whole pathway with DroneTrust.

What if the CAA holds things up?

That's not on you. Delays in CAA processing or an assessment outcome don't affect your discount, as long as you're genuinely working through the pathway.

Can I use it on a T50 or a TopXGun?

Not on this offer, it's the DJI Agras T70P and T100 only. Talk to us anyway and we'll see what we can do.

The detail. Offer runs 12 August to 12 September 2026. Requires a down payment of at least $5,000 on a new DJI Agras T70P or T100 from Aerolab, and engaging DroneTrust as sole provider for the full pathway: Exposition, Part 102 Pilot Certificate, Pilot Chemical Rating, OCA and Agricultural Rating. Enrolment within 90 days of purchase. One discounted enrolment per drone. The discount is conditional and may be invoiced back if the drone purchase doesn't complete or you engage another provider for a pathway component. Full terms and conditions apply and are available on request. All prices exclude GST.
